HMI – GOT Series – GOT Selection Guide Help

...for Human-Machine Communication

Step 1

  • Select your PLC family and the required PLC model.
  • Decide how your GOT1000 is connected to the selected PLC.

    Notes:

  • This is a global selection guide and so not all PLC models are available in Europe.
  • Please remember multiple PLCs cannot be selected.
  • When selecting your connection method you need to decide if your GOT1000 will be connected directly to the Main PLC or to the extension rack (where applicable). If you are connecting to the extension rack please remember to "check" the box and enter the distance between Main PLC rack and the extension rack.

GOT Selection Guide

This is an online selection guide for Mitsubishi GOT1000 HMI's. It helps users to select the correct components to match their system requirement.

Caution

Step 2

  • Select the type and quantity of GOT1000 units you require.
  • To individually customise your GOT1000 click on "options" to enable selection of option boards, memory extensions etc.

    Notes:

  • As we are continuously adding new GOT1000 models you may not always see the unit you require, if this happens please select the nearest equivalent.
  • Please note that some options for your GOT1000 use some of the application memory to function. When you select these, they will automatically decrease the remaining project memory.
  • Network options are only available for GOT 1000 displays with a prefix GT15.

Step 3

  • Select your communication method between PLC and GOT1000.
  • Check what cable lengths are allowed. Make your selection from the drop down menu.

    Notes

  • Please take care to observe the maximum cable lengths for the selected communication format.
  • Please remember that network options are not available for GOT1000 models with prefix GT11.
  • For a serial RS232 or RS422 connection, select "CPU direct" first, then click on the appropriate interface.

Tip: Keep checking the information box in the top right corner. You will see configuration advise, tips and warnings that change with each selection and configuration decision you make.

Step 4

  • Click in "Display List" to see the results of your selection process

    Notes:

  • The "Display list" will show which GOT unit and any standard cables and option boards you selected.
